In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our Visual Merchandising strategy, managing the Field Visual Merchandising function, and supporting New Store Openings (NSOs).
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Visual Merchandising (VM) Execution:
- Supervise the Field VM team and conduct store visits to ensure consistency.
- Analyse store visit data and monitor competitor activities.
- Contribute to and implement VM initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
- Coordinate VM equipment procurement (mannequins, till backdrops, etc.).
- Schedule and oversee store cladding & installations.
- Prepare seasonal and promotional displays.
- Resolve VM-related queries escalated from stores.
- Ensure budget compliance for Field VM and personal expenses.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers.
- Oversee team resourcing, performance management, and succession planning.
- Drive employee engagement within the VM team.
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Tertiary qualification in Visual Communication Design, Visual Merchandising, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory Visual Merchandising role
- Willingness to travel
- Retail experience is a plus!
- Expertise in VM best practices, branding, and customer behaviour
- Strong project management & organizational skills
- Creative flair with an eye for design and detail
- Effective problem-solving & leadership abilities
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
