- Conducting planned maintenance (repairs, replacements) on mechanical and electrical on plant equipment.
- Identifying plant equipment deficiencies (inspection / defect identification).
- Providing timely response (effective trouble shooting) to critical plant equipment breakdowns (reactive maintenance).
- Participate in structured problem-solving exercises (Root Cause Analysis) with operational team i.e., Safety, Production, Process and Engineering.
- Able to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Complete daily Work Orders / Job Cards (Planned and Reactive).
- Adhering to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Maintaining meaningful contribution and participation in meetings and audits (engineering, safety, production, etc.).
- Coach, mentor and train operators, learners and apprentices as may be required.
- Good Housekeeping Factory and Workshop.
- Matric / N3 Mechanical or Electrical
- Trade Test Certificate: Millwright
- Minimum 5 years plant maintenance experience
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook
