We are currently seeking experienced Millwrights to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing operations by performing installation, maintenance, repairs, and modifications on complex machinery and equipment.
Your Day to Day
- Modify and configure machinery and equipment to standardize and optimize production processes.
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to implement and maintain technical solutions.
- Submit and manage plant modification requests, ensuring all system changes are approved and documented.
- Update plant schematics and conduct routine inspections to ensure operational efficiency.
- Commission new and modified machinery and equipment installations in line with production and engineering requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 system requirements.
- Assist with root cause analyses (RCA), initiate investigations, and recommend maintenance plans.
- Support the technical team in resolving maintenance challenges and preventing future failures.
- Utilize PMI systems, including SAP, to execute maintenance strategies effectively.
- Assist Maintenance Engineers in developing and deploying maintenance plans.
- Support all technical functions, maintenance efforts, and shutdown implementations.
- NQF4 qualification in Engineering Studies.
- Recognized Millwright Trade Certificate.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a heavy industry environment.
- At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
