Millwright Graduate/Apprentice

Our client, (a Specialist Bedding Company) is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a recent Millwright Graduate/Apprentice to join their team. This internship is designed to provide a hands-on experience in this trade, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting.

Minimum Requirements:

Higher qualification in the relevant engineering discipline: N6 ((Mechanical OR Electrical)

Desired: Trade test as a millwright

Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science

Engineering Aptitude

Desired: Have a drivers license

Skills Required:

Ability to work according to high standards of accuracy at all times.

Good problem-solving abilities together with a creative approach to finding solutions to breakdowns and maintenance.

Good at adhering to strict safety guidelines and cognisant of safety risks.

Mechanical and electrical technical skills to allow them to effectively read documents such as specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints.

Be detail-orientated and work with a sense of urgency.
