I am ben masimola a hard worker and dedicated taking my job very to the best of my ability ,I started mining career at south deep gold in 2004 as art assistant and moved to mining to work as winch driver then I applied for blasting which I obtained at 2006 and become miner at backfill moved to tm3 mining 2010 to work as miner operator drill rig and acted as tm3 miner for a year and went for shift boss certificate 2012 I acted as tm3 shift boss for 3years and moved to trimming as acting shift boss and was appointed as shift boss in 2015 and acted as production for man 2017 and retrenched 2018

I am a qualified, experienced and skilled rigger ropesman that accumulated a lot of experience in the mining environment from March 2007, worked as an artisan assistant until I got a learnership in 2011 and qualified as a rigger ropesman on the 28 of September 2012 and I was immediately appointed as a rigger ropesman underground and surface doing Shaft maintenance(i.e. changing guides, buntons, water and air pipes, shaft screens, penthouses etc.), slinging of heavy equipment and material down the shaft, installing, inspecting and cutting back and front ends on winders and winches ropes, changing bridles, cages and skips, inspections and colour coding in all rigging equipment on site and keeping records, keeping all the legal government books up to date after each inspection, attending breakdowns on locos and hoppers derailments, installing and moving motors and pumps on pump chambers, done a lot of general underground and surface jobs that critically needed a rigger to do.
