Mining Engineer

A great mining company in Mpumalanga is seeking the expertise of a Mining Engineer to join their team.

Essential Requirements

• Grade 12
• National Diploma/ Degree in Mining Engineering
• Surface Blasting Certificate
• Mine Managers Certificate
• 6 8 years experience in an opencast mining environment
• Minimum 2 years as Production Superintendent
• Drill and Blast experience is essential

Duties And Responsibilities

• Conducting drill and blast planning activities for opencast operations
• Supporting production process to achieve planned targets
• Fulfilling daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting duties
• Supporting preparation of reserves and parameters
• Doing viability studies
