Mission of the Role:
It all starts with people. People like you. Join us a Mining Technology Consultant. You will play a key role in implementing Epirocs mine scheduling platform for mining clients by aligning it with business goals, configuring the system, testing, training users, and ensuring adoption.
Your Mission:
- Understand client needs and how the solution adds value.
- Help design and implement the mine scheduling solution.
- Configure the system according to standards and project plans.
- Support testing of software and solutions.
- Create and deliver training materials.
- Assist with software adoption aligned to client processes.
- Improve implementation methods and procedures.
- Stay updated on Epiroc software and promote its use.
- Join value assessment and proof-of-value activities.
- Support standardization of configurations across clients.
- Keep records of configuration plans and changes.
- Provide frontline client support and log tickets.
- Follow Epirocs adoption methodology.
- Map current and future client processes when needed.
- Share feedback to improve Epiroc products.
- Participate in internal and client-facing testing cycles.
- A tertiary (degree or diploma) in Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other applicable engineering qualification or related qualifications in Mine Technical Services (Geology, Survey, etc.).
- Proven practical mining exposure which includes exposure to mine planning, design, and scheduling processes.
- Experience working in a consulting environment preferably in a mining environment.
- Experience with business or mining related implementation projects.
