Job description

MMA has an opportunity for a Junior Tax Consultant within our Tax Department.

We are seeking a Junior Tax Consultant to join our growing tax practice. This role is suited to an individual at an early stage of their career who is looking for hands-on exposure, structured learning, and meaningful responsibility within a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with all tax cases and tax-related matters.
• Supporting tax compliance across the firms client portfolio.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Assisting management in understanding clients South African business activities and identifying the associated tax implications.
• Engaging with SARS effectively and professionally on all tax matters.
• Adapting to a dynamic work environment and responding to changing client needs.
• Visiting clients to resolve tax issues, assist with SARS audits, and address queries.
• Producing accurate, high-quality client deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Diploma in Accounting or Management Accounting, or
• BCom Taxation, BCom Financial Accounting

Experience:

• 01 year of practical experience in tax or accounting
