Education Requirements

• Education background in financial certification
• MBA advantageous

Experience Requirements

• 2+ years experience in building and analysing financial models for project finance transactions
• Experience in the power industry OR project finance OR business valuation
• Experience creating financial models for infrastructure development proposals

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and manage complex project financial models for proposed projects
• Create and maintain models to incorporate variables such as; financial data, asset performance, and construction delays
• Assist in transitioning project finance investment case models to operational models after construction
• Coordinate with lenders on issues such as disbursements, waivers, and reporting
• Contribute insights to Investment Committee and Board Papers
• Provide specialized analytical support, including research on market trends and competitors

• NB: Proficient in financial modelling, including advanced Excel skills, VBA, and adherence to financial modelling best practices
• Demonstrates commercial awareness and sharp business acumen
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Shows meticulous attention to detail in tasks
• Employs structured planning and organizational abilities
• Demonstrates resilience, tenacity, and a focus on achieving goals
• Possesses knowledge and experience in reviewing, preparing, and analysing financial statements
• Effective presentation skills in various formal and informal settings
