SUMMARY:

Seeking a Predictive Modeller with 3+ years experience.

POSITION INFO:

Were looking for a skilled Predictive Modeler who can independently manage end-to-end modelling projects with precision and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building at least three production-ready models that work with rands and cents, and can confidently predict customer payment behavior.

What Youll Do:

• Design, develop, and deploy predictive models to forecast payment behaviors and identify high-risk customers.
• Utilize advanced machine learning techniques and statistical methods to improve model performance.
• Analyze large datasets to uncover insights and trends that drive business strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable modelling solutions.
• Present results and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What Were Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in predictive modelling.
• Proven ability to manage and optimize predictive models without supervision.
• Demonstrated experience building models that output precise monetary values (rands and cents).
• Expertise in machine learning algorithms (e.g., logistic regression, random forests, and gradient boosting).
• Proficiency in tools such as Python, R, SAS, and SQL.
• Strong data manipulation and analysis skills.
• Understanding of model governance, compliance, and monitoring processes.
