WASA (PTY) LTD has a challenging opportunity for a dynamic, ambitious individual to join our growing company in a temporary capacity.
We are currently looking for a Temp Motor Rewinder for six months, who wants to build and maintain a career at our Integra Site. This candidate will be required to give support to all entities within WASA.
The applicant must have the ability to:
- Strip and draw diagram for motor windings
- Clean armatures and prepare for winding
- Identify material needed. Report to Supervisor for part needed for order to be placed
- Cut all insulation needed
- Wind armatures as per specifications
- Seal windings with sealer
- Test armature for operation
- Replace bearings and brushes where needed
- Test motor for operation, mark and place in store
Requirements:
- Formal Electrical Winder Qualification
- Mechanical Skills
Inherent requirements:
- Good written and verbal communication
- Team player
- Stress tolerance
The Successful applicant will report to the General Maintenance Supervisor.
