JUNIOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER – INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION (RANDBURG)

Qualifications

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Technical Support Engineer. This entry-level role is perfect for someone eager to grow in the industrial automation field, providing technical support and assisting with troubleshooting and product installations. Qualifications & Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in technical support, preferably within the industrial automation industry.
• National Diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Computer Systems Engineering, or related field).
• Basic knowledge of PLC programming and SCADA development.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and wireless networking is a plus.
• Understanding of PoE-based solutions like IP Cameras and IP Phones is beneficial.

Desired Attributes

• South African citizen with a valid ID and driver's license.
• Strong interest in learning and developing technical skills in industrial automation.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Willingness to occasionally travel for work-related activities.
