Your responsibilities will include:
- Content Creation and Writing
- Craft original copy for advertisements, social networks, and other marketing materials.
- Develop creative concepts into clear and Impactful content plans.
- Conduct industry-related research to identify gaps and generate fresh content ideas.
- Stay up-to-date with trends to create relevant and timely copy.
- Collaboration with Marketing and Design Teams
- Work closely with marketing to ensure copy aligns with strategic goals.
- Partner with design teams to complement text with visual aids.
- Editing and Proofreading
- Review and refine content generated by team members
- Ensure all content is accurate, well-crafted, and optimized for visibility.
- Creative: Adapt at translating brand concepts into rich, engaging copy.
- Detail-oriented: Vigilant in proofreading, ensuring content is flawless.
- Versatile: Comfortable writing for a wide array of formats and platforms.
- Strategic Thinker: Understands the intersection of content and business growth.
- Top of the class written communication and creative copywriting skills
- Razor-sharp and lightning-quick proof-reading accuracy with an obsessive eye for detail
- Ability to write different types of copy consistently depending on its purpose
- Capability to present creative ideas confidently and succinctly (written & verbal)
- A grounding in Marketing and Communication principles
- Highly organized and efficient, can work towards and meet tight deadlines
- Creatively-minded with an ability to craft numerous campaigns across multiple departments
- Results-oriented with a can-do attitude
- High energy with a thirst for knowledge and willingness to learn
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in writing for online, blogging & social media
- Experience in creating content that builds memorable brands
- Creative and open minded
- Highly organized and efficient, whilst being flexible and versatile
- An enthusiasm for, and an understanding of e-commerce
- Tech savvy with an inquisitive mind
- The appetite for being involved in a startup environment
- Confident, with very strong interpersonal & communication skills and a proven ability to build productive relationships quickly
- Competent in managing content calendars and overseeing content teams.
- Familiar with SEO best practices and content optimization.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- 5+ years of industry experience with a robust portfolio.
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Copywriting, Branding, Marketing or related field.
