National Consignment Stock Controller | Medical Devices | Midrand

Our client is a well established medical devices company and they are looking to appoint a new National Consignment Stock Controller. The company is located in Midrand, Johannesburg.

The candidate will report to the Group Inventory Supervisor

Areas of Responsibility
  • Review and sign off on consignment & boot inventory reconciliations.
  • Follow up and resolve consignment / short-term / kit / boot inventory discrepancies.
  • Liaise with consignment controllers nationally to ensure counts and reconciliations are performed timeously.
  • Ensure slow moving inventory is rotated.
  • Ensure expired inventory is uplifted from consignment bins.
  • Liaise with sale representatives to obtain orders for missing inventory
  • Update and maintain missing inventory records.
  • Update and maintain consignment count records.
  • Assisting with demo, sample, and expired stock to comply with Regulatory requirements.
  • Monthly progress reports to management on missing inventory.
  • Ad-Hoc duties as and when required.
Requirements

Qualifications
  • Grade 12 (Matric) is a minimum requirement;
  • Qualifications in Logistics and Supply Chain or Finance will be a definite advantage.
Experience Required
  • Experience in Consignment Stock Management would be an advantage;
  • Experience in Inventory Management, Control and Procedures in the Medical Device Industry will be advantageous.
  • Experience in ERP would be an advantage;
  • Analytical skills and management experience;
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office with advanced MS Excel is a requirement;
  • SQL & Microsoft ODBC would be an advantage;
  • Analytical thinker.
