A National Restaurant franchise needs a dynamic and motivated Junior Graphic Designer in Cape Town. This position is ideal for a creative, confident young designer with a strong mind-set, good project management skills, able to work under tight deadlines and willing to grow within the company. We require a meticulous worker with good attention to detail reporting directly to the Marketing Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and assist with the layout, design, setup and implementation of all electronic and print artworks, campaigns, outdoor and digital branding (social media & website).
Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design.
Working with a range of media and keeping up to date with emerging technologies.
Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
Working as part of a team with other Graphic Designers, a Marketing Coordinator and Social Media Manager.
Work to a brief, solve problems creatively and adapt style if needed.
Ensure quality control.
Create quality print-ready files and sign off proofs.
Managing and checking of proof prints.
Liaising with external production facilities regarding artwork and marketing collateral.
Preparation of artwork into Print-Ready files for supply to production.
Minimum Requirements:
A graphic design qualification
Office experience beneficial
Portfolio of work essential
Understanding of print design, layout and typography
Ability to manage digital artwork assets and maintaining a good file architecture
Fluent English communication
Good communication skills
Own transport
Software Requirements:
Adobe Creative Suite (Especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
CorelDraw (Basic to Intermediate)
MS Office Outlook (office use)
Photography, Animation and Video editing is a bonus
Salary R9000 to R12000 depending on experience
