Santam Partner Business has a career opportunity for a Project Manager who will be based in Bellville, Cape Town or Alice Lane, Johannesburg.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plan (Scope, Budget, Risk, Issues, Resources)
- Manage tasks and project timelines to ensure successful project delivery
- Communicate with stakeholders, providing project updates and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction
- Create project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and presentations
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues Foster a positive team culture and collaborate to achieve team objectives
- Related degree ( BSC or Commerce)
- Relevant Tertiary qualification or certificate/diploma in Project Management from an industry recognized training institution
- Minimum of 3 years experience as project Manager
- Experience in workshop facilitation and communication with stakeholders both internal and external and at different levels of the organization
- Experience in the use of project management techniques and methodology advantageous
- Experience in the short-term insurance industry advantageous
- Experience in Partnership type business advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong customer service orientation and collaborative interpersonal style
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Effective relationship building skills and ability liaise with stakeholders at all levels, internal and external
- High confidence, self-driven individual who can remain calm and focused under pressure
- Ability to manage own workload and timelines
- Facilitation of workshops, decision-making and actions to enable teams to agree next steps
