Network Security Engineer MMH250204-5

Role Purpose

The individual will be involved in the designing, testing and implementation of network security solutions, as well as operational support with that space.

Requirements

• Required Degree/Diploma in Information Systems or Computer Science or related field
• Fortinet Certifications: NSE4, NSE5, NSE7, CCNA or CCNP,
• Industry Certifications: CompTIA Security +, ISC2 Certified in CyberSecurity.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
• Certified AlgoSec Security Administrator (CASA) advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in information technology.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Network Security.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Management of Fortinet FortiGate NGFWs, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and FortiClientEMS in line with Momentum Group Security practices.
• Management of NGFW and Endpoint security profiles in line with Momentum Group Security practices: Web Filter, App Control, Intrusion Prevention, SSL Inspection, Anti-Virus, etc.
• Management of Netskope CASB, SWG and ZTNA platforms in line with Momentum Group Security practices.
• Management of Cloudflare CDNs, WAF, DDoS and Gateway technologies in line with Momentum Group Security practices.
• Management of Sectigo Certificate Manager PKI platform in line with Momentum Group Security practices.
• Management of Pulse Secure (Riverbed vTM), NGINX, F5 Load Balancers in line with Momentum Group Security practices.
• Management of Lexsynergy domain registrar platform in line with Momentum Group Security practices.
• Management of Forescout NAC solution in line with Momentum Group Security practices.
• Management of AWS and Azure network and security components: ALBs, NLBs, TGWs, App Gateways, Azure Load Balancers, SGs, NACLs, IAM Roles, etc.
• Management of Guardicore Macro-Segmentation platform in line with Momentum Group Security practices.
• Involvement in the creation and maintenance of IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
• Demonstrated skills in data analytics and reporting tools such as PowerBI, Excel, SQL etc.
• Demonstrated understanding of NPM vs APM tools such as DataDog, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, etc.
• Demonstrated understanding and skills of AWS and Azure Cloud platforms, with a focus on well architected frameworks, and delivering for business enablement WITH security in mind.
• Some understanding of AI, and the challenges and opportunities that it brings within Security from a governance as well as a defensive standpoint.
