We offer a job for Night Shift manager to work at Taurus Packaging based in Isithebe / Mandeni.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 4 years experience in a Technical or Production managerial role;
- Must have a good understanding of Quality management systems;
- Must have a good understanding of Occupational health and safety;
- Must have a strong bias to OEE and production schedule adherence;
- Understand the fundamentals of production planning;
- Must have a good all round experience of pre - printing, SO bag conversion and sack conversion;
- Must have sound technical knowledge of equipment used in the bag and sack making industry;
- Must be able to demonstrate past successes / process improvements;
- Must be fully computer literate.
- Self disciplined, precise, punctual, strong leader, self controlled, ability to make decisions, able to take control and ensure employee disciplines, quick learner, able to adapt to change, self starter, accurate and methodical.
- Industrial and Manufacturing engineering degree / Production Management degree;
- Candidate must be willing to work a four day week consisting of 12hr shifts. Work days will be Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday of each week. This may vary from time to time depending on work load and priority focus.
