MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To co-ordinate staff in line with hospital and Clinical requirements and to establish safe staffing in all nursing units and wards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Manage client staffing requests

Manage the placement of panel members

Required Education

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Professional Nurse qualification

DESIRED EDUCATION: Nursing Administration qualification

Required Experience

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years nursing experience in a private hospital environment

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Experience in general and specialised nursing units

Required Job Skills And Knowledge

Infection prevention and control
Nursing processes and procedures
Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
Relevant nursing legislation
Record keeping
Analytical and report writing skills
Risk identification
Workforce Management System (i.e. Kronos)
