Sales Representative (Fuel Chemicals Industry)

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join this dynamic team in the decontamination industry. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving their business growth by promoting and selling their innovative decontamination solutions. Your primary focus will be on identifying and establishing new customer relationships, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma (matric) or equivalent. A relevant technical degree or diploma is a plus.
  • Experience in external sales
  • Previous mechanical experience is essential.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Self-disciplined, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Proven track record of being a self-starter and go-getter, with excellent time management skills.
  • Strong technical understanding of diesel engines, generators, or related equipment is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the generator industry will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated sales territory as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Prospect, identify, and develop new business opportunities within the fuel decontamination industry.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through research, networking, and cold-calling.
  • Present and demonstrate decontamination products and services to potential clients, showcasing their technical benefits and advantages.
  • Fuel sample extractions and site evaluations
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' technical requirements and challenges to provide effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the products and services offered.
  • Provide accurate and detailed sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to the management team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitors' activities.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and its offerings.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and goals within the designated territory.
Compensation
  • Base salary + commission structure
  • Travel and expenses reimbursement

  • 20% Commission on all sales after meeting sales target of R30 000
