Job Description

This role supports the implementation of the HR people plan for the designated area.

This role works with line managers and supports HR colleagues in the implementation of HR solutions.

Individually accountable for achieving results through the self, over periods of 0-3 months.

The OMiX Culture and Change CoE team is looking for a Human Capital Practitioner to join the team.

We are a dynamic team, seeking to embed and build a strong culture in the newly created segment, OMiX.

This segment represents our Customer Outcome teams that develops and support all products offered to OML clients; including teams that creates our Digital footprint and Rewards. These are supported by our enabling functions of IT technologies, Servicing areas and OML Customer CoE, representing over 4500 people. Key driver is to deliver services that ensures Old Mutual is the first choice of all our customers and areas where we operate. Key Result Areas
  • Support the development and implementation of OMiX wide initiatives to enhance employee wellbeing and team cohesion.
  • Analyses HC data and provides recommendations for HC interventions and improvements that will enhance business performance.
  • Wellbeing reporting that highlighting culture behaviours and impacts
  • Conduct exit interviews to provide context to exit data that builds into our current culture picture.
  • Act as a technical specialist and SME either directly or in conjunction with the HCBP to provide guidance and offer solutions on wellbeing.
  • Create wellbeing culture actions in response to our Culture Pulse Survey.
  • Ensure employees are aware of the availability of employee wellbeing programmes through effective communication.
  • Support and implement innovative employee wellness solutions to business.
  • Work with OML wellness partners, SMEs at OML and stakeholders to drive the Wellbeing outcomes.
  • Supports the implementation of change initiatives when required with specific engagement initiatives to embed the change.
Experience Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Behavioural Economics, Industrial Psychology, with specialisation in Design Thinking, change management, UX advantageous)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience HC consultant or change consultant or similar role
  • Experience delivering on people change projects or wellbeing initiatives will be to your advantage.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills
This position will be ideal for a recent graduate in people behaviour or change discipline with a passion to create employee experiences that engage and motivate individuals and teams.
