Job Description
The Operations Co-Ordinator plays a central role in ensuring the smooth functioning of Project 90 by 2030s internal operations. This includes financial management, human resources, premises and systems oversight, governance, and general office administration. The role supports the organisations mission by maintaining efficient, compliant, and cost-effective operational systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
As our Operations Co-Ordinator, and part of the management team, you will lead and support across six core operational areas:
Financial Management
- Process payments, manage petty cash, and support audits Oversee payroll and statutory submissions
- Monitor budgets and promote cost-efficiency
- Manage contracts, leave, and performance appraisals
- Support recruitment and staff wellbeing
- Maintain office assets, insurance, and IT systems
- Ensure health and safety compliance
- Coordinate board meetings and ensure statutory compliance
- Maintain organisational policies and procedures
- Manage supplies, service providers, and front desk duties
- Line manage the Administrator and Cleaning staff
Who Were Looking For
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Management or Operations
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role within a non-profit organisation
- Strong understanding of organisational regulations and reporting standards
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Commitment to climate justice and youth empowerment
