The Ideal Candidate Will Have
You will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of regional production and profit targets, implementing continuous improvement activities, minimizing operational risk through adherence to relevant legislative and safety requirements, as well as developing and implementing strategies that ensure new and continued business/clients.
- A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or similar relevant field
- Minimum 5 years experience within a similar operational role preferably within the underground/mining environment (e.g Multi Sites Manager)
- At least 3 years experience in a leadership/management role
- Proven experience in quality management and extensive stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities
- An Advanced Blasting Course/ Certificate and/or Shift boss Certificate of Competence will be highly advantageous but not essential
