Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Duty Manager AMC and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Develop, implement, monitor and review airside procedures and working instructions.
- Ensure daily operational plans are completed, review quality, critical information is communicated, and according to agreed standards. Modify plan to ensure minimal disruptions to operation
- Ensuring daily functional operational planning schedules are available.
- Attend and contribute to AMC meetings, provide a comprehensive end of shift handover to next AMC Representative.
- Monitor relevant systems to detect events that may cause delays to the PBA process across the airport as a whole and communicate with other AMC representatives to ensure that any events arising in other functional areas are understood and communicated.
- Make decisions on behalf of the functional area when deviations occur.
- Management of real time capacity for exceptional circumstances (events/weather related).
- Ensure that the Notification of works on airside to internal and external stakeholders is accurately communicated and that impact is mitigated.
- Participate in cross functional/ organisational communication including information sharing to the AMC in order to manage and analyse events effectively.
- Compile reports and indicate deviations on published procedures and regulations.
- Produce monthly management reports through the analysis and trending of operational activities and data to provide business intelligence for decision making.
- Report on specific safety hazards that could affect airside operations.
- Review manual events and associated comments, trends and support AMC Manager and AMC Duty Manager in preparing information, compile end of shift report, review daily operational report.
- Compile reports and indicate deviations on published procedures and regulations.
- Produce monthly management reports through the analysis and trending of operational activities and data to provide business intelligence for decision making.
- Report on specific safety hazards that could affect airside operations.
The following skills and experience will be required:
- Diploma in the following areas Transportation/Logistics/ Aviation/ Industrial Engineering is essential.
- 3 years operational experience in aviation is essential.
- Intermediate proficiency level of MS Office packages.
