- Feed and remove parts from press and ensure quality parts are produced
- Routinely check and clean weld tips in accordance with work instructions
- Ensure parts are correctly loaded and clamped
- Report any non-conformances to the team leaders.
- Remove scrap parts and off cuts during production
- Verify and inspect parts for defects visually
- Assist with tool changes
- Comply to safety health and environmental work instructions and follow lock out procedure
- Ensure clean working environment and production equipment (House Keeping)
- Participate actively in the departmental M2S system as per company requirement, workplace organisation and autonomous maintenance.
- Follow any reasonable instructions by Team Leader or Manager that is in your capabilities.
- Grade 12 or equivalent Welding Certificate
- Minimum 1 year spot welding
- Minimum 3 years welding experience within an automotive environment
- Minimum 1 year experience in Assembly jigs.
