Core Description

Responsible to maintain the required Bid quality assurance and standard in all BCX Bid responses whilst adhering to the Bid framework. To ensure quality responses in order to generate commercial value and create revenue opportunities for BCX.

Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

• Support the Proposal Centre with quality assurance on all Bid production, proposal formulation and Bid responses.
• Review content in partnership with Bid managers & senior specialists in relation to all Bid responses.
• Review the construction of consolidated inputs received (costing, technical designs, SLAs, MSAs, T&Cs, service descriptions, etc) and construct standard corporate information requirements to formulate quality and compliant bid responses according to governance standards.
• Ensure final bid production (formatting, grammar checks and printing) are completed within agreed timelines.
• Maintain self-help portals where standard information can be obtained for sales teams to complete simple responses, outside of Bid Office assistance.

Minimum Qualifications

NQF 6: 3 year Degree/ Diploma/ National Diploma in IT/Business/Commerce

OR NQF 4: Grade 12

Experience

Additional Education -Preferred /Advantage

3 years experience in business writing, communications, marketing, or quality management

OR

5 years experience in business writing, communications, marketing, or quality management

Certifications

Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry

Level of Engagement & Span of Control

Interacts with various stakeholders within BCX, both on management and operational levels
