Job Descriptio

nDuties & Responsibilitie

• sAnalyse and interpret data stored in Oracle databases to provide insights for decision-making and business process improvement
• .Design and develop complex SQL and PL/SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data efficiently
• .Create reports, dashboards, and visualisations using tools such as Oracle BI and Power BI
• .Perform data profiling to understand data structures, relationships, and patterns
• .Conduct data cleansing and quality assessments to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness
• .Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• .Develop and maintain documentation for queries, reports, dashboards, and data processes
• .Optimise SQL queries for performance improvements in large datasets
• .Work closely with database administrators to ensure database integrity, security, and availability
• .Support ad-hoc data analysis requests and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
• .Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy regulations, and organisational standards
• .Participate in testing and validation of new data sources, processes, and reports

.Requirement

sMinimum Qualification

• s3-year National Diploma (NQF 6) or higher in an ICT-related field (e.g., Computer Science or Information Technology)
• .Oracle certification is an added advantage

.Key Skills & Competencie

• sAdvanced SQL and PL/SQL development skills
• .Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
• .Experience with Oracle Database technologies and data analysis tools
• .Proficiency in Oracle BI, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms
• .Knowledge of data profiling, cleansing, and quality assurance practices
• .Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
