Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced candidate to drive change and continuous improvement, foster staff engagement, and improve overall effectiveness. Responsible for designing and implementing strategies and initiatives to achieve these goals. Focus on improving the organisation's employees and culture. Lead the efforts in managed areas to foster and cultivate staff engagement.

Role Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies and initiatives aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Conduct assessments of current state, including culture, structure, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with senior leaders and managers to develop change management plans and initiatives to drive transformation and improve employee engagement.
  • Foster and cultivate employee engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR to design and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Facilitate improvement of performance management processes and tools with HR.
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to ensure necessary skills and capabilities for objectives.
  • Work with other departments to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of initiatives, making adjustments as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on trends and best practices to continuously improve processes, systems, and culture.
Relevant Qualifications / Experience
  • Master's Degree in Industrial Psychology or related, registered with HPCSA
  • Change management certification preferred.
  • 5 - 8 years' relevant experience in a software development environment.
  • Project management, coaching & facilitation skills.
  • Experience engaging with clients/stakeholders at line management and senior level.
  • Experience with interventions, coaching, psychometric assessments, training development, surveys, technical report writing, and statistics.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence others.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop effective solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong analytical skills using data to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Experience designing and delivering training, change management, and staff engagement programs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, HR policies and procedures knowledge.
  • Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, innovation, solution-oriented, assertive, relationship building, drive, urgency, initiative, multitasking, planning, and organising skills.
