- Handle the liaison with shipment clients
- Prepare customs clearance documents on computer
- Co-ordinate customs clearance procedures and delivery of the consignments
- Calculate quotations for inbound shipments
- Assist with outbound enquiries and quotations
- Make bookings to view for the sales consultant
- Make bookings for collection and delivery of shipments
- Make bookings with shipping lines and transporters
- Prepare documentation for exports e.g. letters of confirmation to clients, export waybills, typing of marine insurance certificates,
- Filing, emailing, faxing, photo-copying and all other duties relating to sales and inbound and outbound traffic.
