Outbound Assistant Manager

Outbound/Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all outbound logistics and dispatch activities
- Manage and monitor transport scheduling and route planning
- Ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched within set timelines
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly performance and volume reports using advanced Excel
- Assist in managing a team of drivers and outbound staff to ensure productivity and compliance
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Coordinate closely with internal departments such as inventory, sales, and customer service
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and transport regulations
- Support the Outbound/Operations Manager with administrative and operational duties
- 5 years' experience in an outbound or transport/logistics coordination role
- Must come from a logistics, distribution, or supply chain background
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, dashboards, )
- Strong leadership and coordination skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
- A relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Flexible to work extended hours when required
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Proactive and results-driven
- High attention to detail
- Team player with leadership potential
- Excellent time management and planning abilities
Experience:
* 5 years' experience in an outbound or transport/logistics coordination role
* Must come from a logistics, distribution, or supply chain background
* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, dashboards, etc.)
* Strong leadership and coordination skills
* Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
