This role offers a chance to take control of the daily and monthly accounting transactions and play a pivotal role in the company's financial function. Based in the beautiful city of Cape Town, you'll be part of a dedicated team of accounting specialists, committed to delivering financial and economic development objectives.
Responsibilities
Ownership and management of daily and monthly accounting transactions
Recording all transactions and entries
Preparation of monthly trial balance
Assisting in the preparation and submission of tax, legislative, and statutory reports
Working closely with contractors, suppliers, and the financial manager to ensure correctness and accuracy of economic development reports
Requirements
Accounting Graduate/Diploma with 5 years relevant experience
Experience within financial services is preferable
Technical knowledge of accounting systems
Proactive demeanor with strong attention to detail
