CHILLI are our specialist packaging arm, that take brands from being noticed to being chosen. Creating insightful packaging design that not only steals attention, but shelf space and sales too.
Summary of the role
You help inspire a creative culture across CHILLI and IMA. You have a relentless desire to originate and craft industry- leading design solutions and specifically translate them to attention grabbing packaging.
You have an obsessive passion for design; constantly following trends in packaging and wider design worlds. You have the experience supporting senior roles to deliver marketing-leading work thats both engaging and effective.
You have excellent knowledge in all aspects of packaging design; from typography to message hierarchy and beyond. A curious and driven team player you spread enthusiasm and build relationships with creative, strategy, account handling and production teams.
Some responsibilities of the Packaging Designer role will include
- Working with creative briefs developed by the planning and account handling teams.
- Interpreting the brief and developing appropriate design concepts.
- Estimating time taken to complete work and providing account handlers with this information.
- Adding value to design briefs by gathering information and data through research.
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
- Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to clients or account handlers.
