Are you someone who can:
- Work with the Global Markets Legal Team teams to understand their function and strategy in a practical and actionable format.
- Work with the Global Markets Legal Team and the different parts of the business to understand their alignment and how the legal process feeds into the broader Global Markets business.
- Take responsibility for the Global Markets Legal databases and systems in order to facilitate smooth operation and respond to changes
- Facilitate the development of the key systems and databases where required in response to changing business requirements, requests and changing regulatory requirements.
- Engage with stakeholders in a responsive manner to answer queries and maintain continuous engagement throughout the process
- Learn the Global Markets legal suite of documentation with a view to being able to produce an initial draft of master documentation and update agreements with client changes
- Build professional working relationships with all stakeholders
- Ensure Business Continuity Management is proactively managed.
- Work with the Global Markets Legal Team to ensure preparedness for regulatory and legislative change.
- Ensure regular monitoring and reporting where appropriate.
- Demonstrate pride in the organisations brand services and products by consistently delivering on the brands promise.
- Follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained.
- Plan and manage own workflow anticipating obstacles juggling priorities and following through on objectives within agreed time frames and according to quality standards.
- You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- Min Qualification and preferred qualification: Legal bachelors degree
- 5 years' minimum experience
- Industry experience: Financial markets / Legal / Banking
- Versatile, adaptable, self starter
