Payroll Administrator Intern (Temporary 12 months) MMH250228-13

Role Purpose

Accurately execute payroll processes and provide excellent payroll services that facilitate and support the employee journey.

Requirements
  • Relevant Bcom/Business Administration/Accounting degree or diploma
  • Payroll Certification (preferred) or knowledge thereof
  • Understanding of payroll legislation and processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Capture and submit all payroll data including employee earning, deductions and related company contributions.
  • Process employee leave, new engagements, status changes, transfers and terminations processes.
  • Reconciliation of payroll related accounts.
  • Accurately maintain and update employee records on the payroll system ensuring payroll documentation is up to date and complete.
  • Ensure the information on employee payslips are accurate through monthly checking processes
  • Administer all payroll and benefit processes in compliance with relevant legislation and company regulations.
  • Ensure monthly errors and omissions are corrected on the Funds@work pension file to ensure timeous allocation.
  • Provide payroll related information and reports to management.
  • Ensure daily ticket items are resolved within SLA on the query management system and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timeous resolution.
