Pepkor Lifestyle is looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Product Data Specialist. This is a full-time position focused on ensuring that our products are presented to customers in an appealing, accurate, and complete manner to facilitate purchasing decisions.
Key ResponsibilitiesResearch new product trends and technologies and update the Pepkor Lifestyle Product Taxonomy as needed.Ensure that the requirements and standards in the Pepkor Lifestyle Product Taxonomy are aligned with relevant systems.Monitor and audit product data to ensure compliance with the Pepkor Lifestyle Product Taxonomy.Support Merchandise with product-related requirements in the PIM and Adobe Commerce systems.Design HTML enrichment templates for new product launches in consultation with Buyers and Suppliers.Engage with customers in a customer-centric manner.Demonstrate effective self-management and teamwork.Knowledge:- Knowledge and application of best practices for e-commerce and Product Information Management (PIM) platforms (preferably Akeneo PIM and Adobe Commerce).
- Knowledge and application of SAP Master Data best practice.
- Relevant experience in the retail environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Pepkor Lifestyle policies, practices, processes, and systems.

Minimum Requirements- Qualification: A relevant Bachelor's Degree.
