Job Description
The Head of IT Assurance and Digital Innovation will play a crucial role in improving quality within our network and driving digital transformation. The key performance areas of this job include:
IT Audit
- Develop and implement a risk-based IT audit methodology and plan.
- Performing research and preparing recommendations to the Technical Committee on topical IT Audit matters.
- Preparing guidance for the network on IT Audit technical matters.
- Preparing and/or updating relevant IT audit templates or working paper.
- Performing IT audit technical consults within the network.
- Regular interactions with member firms and discussing topical IT audit matters with the engagement partners and leadership of the member firms.
- Preparing high quality guidance documents/written reports.
- Participating in relevant network related quality initiatives/projects.
- Conduct audits of IT systems, applications, and processes.
- Review and enhance IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure the effectiveness of data and information controls.
- Lead the development and execution of digital transformation strategies.
- Identify opportunities for leveraging new technologies to improve business processes and customer experiences.
- Manage digital projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and digital initiatives.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in digital innovation.
- CA (SA) who trained in public practice (external audit).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT audit and digital innovation roles.
- Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and audit practices.
- Proven track record of managing digital projects and driving innovation.
- Advanced risk management and audit skills.

- Proficiency in digital technologies and project management.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
