Job Description
- Control and coordinate all activities, achieving optimal production and process efficiency, security and information with necessary principles.
- Planning, organizing, directing and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our client’s expectations.
- Increasing of production, asset capacity and flexibility whilst minimizing unnecessary costs and mininating of current quality standards.
- Ensuring safety and efficiency of the facility.
- Sharing a trustworthy relationship with workgroup and recruiting, managing and developing of plant employees.
- Developing systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets by ensuring effectiveness return on assets.
- Monitoring of the production equipment to ensure that it is in good working order, along with the repairing and replacing thereof when required.
- Preparing, analyzing and issuing production and performance reports
- Delegation of authority to key supervisors in production, managing of all functions involved and direct
- Staying up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts.
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Relevant Trade Test Certification
- Competent A Certificate
- Training courses in Supervisory and Safety, First Aid etc. will be an advantage
- Min of 8 years working experience in a fixed plant (Mining) in a Senior position and 3 years experience in a Maintenance Foreman or Supervisory role. (Carry a 2.6.1 Legal Appointment)
- Experienced with Fixed Crusher and Dense Media Separation (DMS) and/or any other beneficiation processes.
- Experience in Warrior Machines (Wet and Dry Screens)
- Working expertise of dam tailings and slime pond cleaning along with management thereof.
- Must have a proven track record in respect of driving plant effectiveness along with stockpile management.
