A Senior Post Producer at Team5pm Cape Town
We're seeking a seasoned Post Producer, the definitive expert who will not only manage our projects but also serve as the central connection on all things post. You'll guide our talented team and confidently educate our clients, ensuring a seamless and exceptional post-production experience. You'll be a mentor, sharing your knowledge with colleagues and transforming complex workflows into clear and collaborative journeys. As a Post Producer, you will be the driving force behind the post-production process, ensuring our video projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll be working closely with our creative team, managing projects from conception to completion, and collaborating with editors, sound designers, VFX artists, and other post-production professionals.
To sum it all up, you will:
- Oversee the entire post-production workflow for various video projects, including commercials, social media content, and corporate videos.
- Develop detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Manage and coordinate the post-production team, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflows.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain rigorous quality control standards, ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations and agency guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any feedback or concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest post-production technologies and industry trends.

Key requirements for our Senior Post Producer:
- Proven experience as a Post Producer in a digital content agency or similar environment.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience at a (production) agency.
- Experience in working with international clients
- Bachelor degree, fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Strong understanding of post-production workflows, including editing, sound design, VFX, color grading, and delivery.
- Proficiency in post-production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant tools.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- A passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation.
- Knowledge of different video formats and delivery specifications.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your post-production expertise.
