- To timeously and accurately conduct quality control checks and tests on incoming raw material, in process product and finished/packed goods to achieve quality standards as per the SOP.
- To timeously ensure that testing equipment are in good condition to ensure accuracy of results.
- To analyse and record the results to verify whether the products are within specification and inform line and or supervisor accordingly.
- To timeously and accurately conduct line trials and experiments assisting R&D to contribute to quality improvements, innovation, and new product developments.
- To ensure Food Safety (FSSC 22000) adherence.
- To ensure that the OHS Act is complied with.
- To ensure timeous and accurate results capturing onto LIMS.
- Data capturing on LIMS.
- Issuing out COAs
- To report non-conformances or deviations in calibrations and analysis to Miller and Supervisor
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
- Qualified Food Technologist or relevant science degree
- 5 years of experience in a laboratory environment will be an advantage.

- General deep cleaning of the laboratory should be maintained monthly during maintenance (Walls, Windows, Cupboards etc.)
