Wear Your Brand Foundation, a Public Benefit Organization (PBO), supports over 774 small businesses and 3, 000 informal sector participants, including street vendors, across South Africa. As the #HomeOfSmallBusiness, the organization collaborates with prominent alliances such as the Global Federation of Chambers and SANTACO. Through initiatives with partners like ABSA, KZN Vodacom Business, SERITI, EThekwini Business Support, SEDA, Gugu Dlamini Foundation, Goodmen Foundation, and GagasiFM, the foundation has executed impactful programs aimed at empowering small enterprises. The organization envisions expanding its programs nationally and globally to ensure continued growth and success for small businesses.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Durban for the position of President at Wear Your Brand Foundation. The President will oversee and lead the organization's strategic vision, manage partnerships with key stakeholders, and ensure the development and successful execution of impactful programs. Duties will include representing the foundation in national and international forums, strengthening relationships with alliances, supporting small business communities, and driving sustainable growth initiatives across South Africa and beyond.

- Leadership, vision-setting, and strategic planning skills
- Experience building and managing partnerships with stakeholders, alliances, and institutions
- Proven ability to drive programs aimed at small business development and economic growth
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and teamwork capabilities
- Exceptional communication, public speaking, and relationship-building skills
- Understanding of the small business and informal sector landscape in South Africa
- Familiarity with corporate sponsorships and non-profit operations is an advantage
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, or a closely related field
- Significant leadership experience in a non-profit or business organization
