We are seeking a skilled and experienced Printing Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in the printing and signage industry, with strong knowledge of Roland printers, vinyl cutting, and various production software including CoralDRAW and VersaWorks. This role requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and the ability to manage print jobs from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Roland wide-format printers and related print equipment.
- Use CoralDRAW and VersaWorks software to prepare and manage print files.
- Perform vinyl cutting, weeding, and application with accuracy and efficiency.
- Set up, run, and monitor printing jobs to ensure high-quality output.
- Prepare and finish signage materials according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of print equipment.
- Manage workflow to meet tight deadlines and production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of proven experience in printing, signage production, and vinyl application.
- Proficient with CoralDRAW and VersaWorks software.
- Skilled in operating Roland printers and vinyl cutting machines.
- Strong understanding of different types of vinyl and their uses.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime when required.
- Good communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Attributes:
- Strong eye for detail and color accuracy.
- Ability to handle physical aspects of the job (e.g., lifting, standing for long periods).
- Experience with large-format signage installations is an advantage.
