What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
You will be working in the finance department, more specifically handling the full claim administration process. This would entail liaising with many senior stakeholders within the business, insurance companies, various branches etc.
This role will challenge you, overall you'll be responsible for the full claim process which includes administration, reports, cashflow projections, data input and liaising with various internal and external stakeholders.
Where you'll be doing it
A leading company in the logistics industry that forms part of a larger listed retail group. They boast a down-to-earth type organisational culture. The team itself is hard working, dedicated and fast paced.
What you'll need
A Business / Financial Admin Certificate (NQF level 5 or above) and at least 2-3 years' experience in similar role. We'd love you to have some logistics environment admin experience. You must be proficient in MS Office and your Excel skills need to be advanced (you need to be comfortable with pivot tables and formula), this is a non negotiable as they operate mostly on Excel.
You need to be able to work at a high standard, along with pre-determined deadlines, within a high-pressure environment. You'll need to be confident dealing with senior stakeholders, have excellent attention to detail, prorioristing and organisational skills. You'll be comfortable dealing with large volumes of data on Excel mostly and be experienced in dealing with admin functions from start to finish (as opposed to a silo type structure from big organisations).
You're hands on, have great problem solving skills and thrive under pressure.
