The Opportunity:
As a Data Product Manager at Kurtosys, youll leverage your product management expertise and data fluency to drive the development of innovative, client-centric solutions that keep us at the forefront of the FinTech industry. Youll work closely with clients, engineers, designers, and data specialists to transform data insights into best-in-class features delivering measurable business value and exceptional client experiences.

Responsibilities:
Data-Driven Product Strategy
- Partner with product, sales, and marketing teams to identify client needs and translate them into a data-driven product roadmap.
- Conduct market research and user analysis to pinpoint opportunities where data can unlock new value.
- Define and prioritise data requirements in collaboration with data engineers and analysts to fuel product insights.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends (AI/ML, automation, personalisation) to incorporate innovation into the product vision.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate data insights into intuitive, user-centric product features.
- Champion data-informed design decisions throughout the product lifecycle.
- Partner with engineers to deliver scalable, API-first, and cloud-ready solutions.
- Conduct A/B testing and use product analytics tools to validate and iterate on features based on data and user feedback.
- Own the product roadmap, balancing client needs, business priorities, and data-driven insights.
- Define and track product KPIs to measure adoption, engagement, and business impact.
- Document clear functional specifications and user stories to ensure alignment across teams.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives) and drive continuous improvement.
- Work with compliance and legal teams to ensure all data-driven solutions adhere to industry regulations and ISO-27001 standards.
- Champion data literacy and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
- Translate complex data analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders and clients.
- Engage directly with clients to understand evolving data challenges and advocate for Kurtosys data products as strategic enablers.
- 5+ years of experience in product management or a related field (e.g., data science, analytics).
- Proven track record of launching and managing data-driven products.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using SQL, Python, or similar data analysis tools.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Passion for data and its potential to transform the FinTech industry.
- Experience in the asset/wealth management space or broader financial services domain.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of modern cloud data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS, Azure).
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and applications.
- Exposure to API-first product design and data platform adoption.
