Job Title: Production Floor Manager
Location: Midrand, Gauteng

Job Objective:
As a production manager, you'll be involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes. Ensure goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality. planning and organising production schedules. assessing project and resource requirements. estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers. ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
Key Responsibilities
1.System building - Lead the establishment or optimization of production related management systems and processes, and effective implementation
2.Manufacturing management
3.Production planning management: arrange the production plan according to delivery requirement from market and sales, and coordinate resources and achieve the plan
4.7S management: organize the improvement of site, correct the potential safety hazard, keep civilized production
5.Process quality management: participate in tackling quality problems and QCC activity, strengthen process quality control, Promoting the implementation of TPM
6.Equipment management: effective guidance and improvement on equipment maintenance and safety operation
7.Efficiency management: improve the capacity of production line, optimize Line Balance
8.Team building: set up team culture, improve staff's professional technology and quality
9.Performance management: promote the implementation of target management, setup KPI for key employee and evaluating every month
10.Make the monthly operation report, include the efficiency, cost, delivery and quality achievement
Job Requirements:
1.Educational Background
Bachelors degree or above
Science and engineering related major or Electronics specialty
Matric
2.Work Experience
At least 5 years working experience in production management
Experience in lean production analysis, quality control and equipment
maintenance
Trained in team management, production management, financial management,
quality management and leadership skills
3.Knowledge and skills required
Familiar with ISO9001 quality system and ISO14001&OHSAS18000 system, quality management theory, skilled use analysis tools, such as SPC, Plato, Fishbone diagram etc.
Good understanding of 6 sigma management and have ability to build quality assurance system
Familiar with relevant international and domestic standards, such as IEC/ STS standard requirement in metering area
Familiar with MSA and FMEA manage system
