- Develop and implement a strategy and action plans for the department
- Plan strategically to improve business performance
- Strategise, research, develop and review manufacturing systems
- Achieve manufacturing targets
- Monitor plant availability, utilisation and efficiency targets
- Identify non-conformances and take corrective actions
- Monitor and control manufacturing resources (plant, labour, overtime, etc.)
- Implement and maintain manufacturing plans and volumes
- Verify analytical results
- Compile manufacturing reports
- Compile weekly stock recon
- Production records
- Manage a diverse work force to add value
