We are ISO 90001 and 22716 certified and fall under an international group of manufacturing facilities, thus we uphold a very high standard of manufacturing excellence. The successful candidate would need to have the necessary skills and experience to ensure these standards are maintained, while at the same time driving the businesses continuous improvement goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Operations/ Technical/ Management)
- Experience with Syspro/RiteScan (advantageous) or similar ERP/ WMS system (critical)
- +8 years relevant and proven work experience, preferably within the FMCG sector
- +4 years’ experience in a management role.
- Proven leadership and managerial skills, including HR related processes and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to engage effectively with people at all levels of the business.
- Strong work ethic – must be able to show initiative
- Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills advantageous
- Presentation skills essential – must be able to report and present to top management
- Ability to translate broad strategies into actions, plan tactically and execute effectively and efficiently to achieve desired results and targets
- Proven history of sustainability improvement projects
- Ability to nurture talent and build team alignement within the Company’s vision & values to drive a high performance team.
- Proven experience with automated filling and packing lines as well as processing.
- Detail oriented, with strong problem-solving and analytic ability.
- Strong SHEQ experience and mindset
- Proven technical skills, knowledge and experience advantageous
- Stock management experience advantageous
- Have a valid drivers license and own transport
