- Managing the labour compliment in a disciplined and effective manner;
- Strong administrative skills reliant upon accurate record keeping;
- Management to achieve targets and objectives within a highly pressurized environment;
- Managing within a strict bio-security environment;
- Dealing with local and international professionals at various levels;
- Managing machinery and equipment, stock control and equipment maintenance;
- Implementing and maintaining 20 Keys.
- B.Sc Agric or Diploma in agriculture;
- At least 5 years experience in a Breeder Production environment;
- Experience in the management of a large poultry operation would be preferred;
- A proven ability to achieve excellent Breeder performance;
- Must be able to work under pressure;
- Be in possession of a valid drivers license;
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and proficiency in both English and Afrikaans are essential to this position;
- Competency in budgeting is essential;
- Strong administration and reporting skills.
