Job Description
Olivers Village is seeking a dedicated Agricultural Project Co-ordinator to oversee and support our community-based vegetable-growing co-operative. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a passion for community development and sustainable agriculture.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise and support small-scale agricultural activities on-site.
- Provide basic agricultural training using provided training material.
- Monitor progress, attendance, and productivity of co-op members.
- Maintain accurate records of training, harvests, and sales.
- Liaise with suppliers, stakeholders, and Olivers Village management.
- Assist in planning and organizing produce distribution.
- Ensure compliance with agreed processes and safety practices.
- Prepare reports and updates for internal use.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Ability to supervise and motivate small teams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge or interest in agriculture (training will be provided).
- Computer literacy (MS Office, basic spreadsheets and email).
- Experience in community development or training.
