Job Description
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of large-scale music and cultural events from concept to completion.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Oversee financial management, including budget creation, tracking, and reporting to ensure cost-effective delivery without compromising quality.
- Source, negotiate with, and contract local and international artists.
- Liaise with sponsors, stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to ensure alignment with event objectives.
- Coordinate logistics, technical requirements, permits, and event compliance with local regulations.
- Manage event teams, ensuring clear communication and efficient task execution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly to maintain smooth event operations.
- Minimum 5 years experience in managing large-scale events, preferably within the music and entertainment industry.
- Proven track record in budget management and financial control of multi-million rand projects.
- Strong negotiation skills and established networks in the music/entertainment sector.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
