We currently have a vacancy in our workshop team and are looking for a pump technician / team leader who will be required to install, repair and fault find be it new installations and projects or existing sites in our various market sectors mentioned above
Job requirements:
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Specifically hands on knowledge with pumps and boreholes
- A valid drivers license and be willing to travel and attend to breakdowns
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent problem solving ability and time management skills
- A team player and able to work independently
- A minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar field
- Good communication & customer relation skills
Job responsibilities:
- Site visits and pump system fault finding
- New pump and project installations
- Stripping, re-assembling and testing of pumps where applicable
- Electrical knowledge in terms of pumping systems
